Vita Brevis Fine Art is a family-owned portrait studio in Colorado Springs, Colorado, dedicated to transforming meaningful family moments into timeless works of art. Founded by husband-and-wife Jay and Kristi, along with Kristi’s brother Keith, the studio grew out of Kristi’s passion for photography. It was formally established in 2019 as Vita Brevis Fine Art. The business now brings more than 16 years of experience to its portrait work.

The studio specializes in family and children’s portraits, with an emphasis on creating artwork that can become treasured family heirlooms. Its offerings include Fine Art and Black Label Masterpiece portraits, with the latter incorporating digitally painted artistry and museum-quality canvas to give photographs the appearance and character of traditional painted portraits.

Vita Brevis Fine Art also offers distinctive experiences, including Tiaras & Tuxedos sessions and Magical Fairy Garden portraits. The studio guides clients through scheduling, preparation, photography, artwork selection, and final display, creating a personalized experience from beginning to end.
